Dad, the Farmer!

You know how much Dad loves farming! Well, even half way around the world he wanted to see how rice is planted. Elder & Sis. Whitesides are in charge of LDS Charities. They work with NGO's (non-governmental agencies) in partnership to provide improved agricultural methods, wells, water pumps, rain cathchment systems, wheelchairs, and other worthy projects to help with development in Cambodia. On one of the Whitesides trips to the provinces to check three different projects, they invited us to accompany them. It was a very educational and wonderful day for us. Enjoy the pics.

Super Cool. I know Dad was having such a great time...he didn't care a bit to ruin his shoes did he? The experience and memory was way more valuble than the clothing for sure, I agree!

Elder Nelson,
This was sent to others that we know, hope you dont mind.
Click on the blog link of Thomas Nelson whom we knew in Manhattan Ks. They are working alongside Grant Whitesides. Grant was 12 yrs old he was in one of the Primary classes Teddy and I taught. Tom and Susan Nelson's Wayne was one of my Boy Scouts (Eagle) when we lived in Manhattan. He passed away just after the Eagle was awarded.
Grant Whitesides grandparents were brother and sister to my Grandparents. He was raised down the street from me on Hill Field Road. Future down in the blog is another Couple serving there named Tom Winegar. ( I THINK) We went to HS together. His mother or grandmother was a Whitesides. Stephen Klinfelter son is also a missionary in Cambodia.
